Google Photos announced last year that starting on June 21, 2021, they will no longer offer unlimited, free photo back up and cloud storage for photos reduced from there original size to to 16 MP. Instead, all of your Google data, including Gmails and Drive files, and photos uploaded after June 21, 2021 will count towards your data allotment. The new plan is called Google One. It’s free for 15 GB, but once you quickly go past that, it’s $1.99 / month for 100 GB and up to $9.99 / month for 2 TB.
